Team Work

In group work, the team members must be able to communicate and be able to explain ideas. There are times in a group when you must be able to express feelings but also be open to others ideas and listen carefully to the points that are being made. You must be able to ask questions to others and be able to provide open feedback. Then the group must come up with an idea or solution that best fits the situation or project. After reviewing our team charter, I believe our team will be able to complete our team assignments and work well together.
There is plenty of experience in different areas in our team. We are all focused on being good team players and meeting all deadlines. We want to work together in group meetings and be able to provide open feedback to one another. After our first week, I think our group does need to work a little better at communicating, but I am sure once we get more in-depth on projects, this will improve. Attendance expectations need to be met in our group by checking team postings daily and providing, if needed. I think this is something that will benefit our group in helping us earn all of our participation grades in this class.
When it comes to personal goals in a group, I want to be the best team player that I can be. I do not want to let the others in my group down. I tend to make sure my team assignments are completed first because I know that others are depending on the information that I am providing. It also allows my team members to provide input on my suggestion and provide feedback in a timely manner. There have been times in the past when I have had trouble working with team members because of my work schedule. A lot of the times the team wants to meet at a certain time to discuss team assignments and usually the time is set at night. This at times causes conflict because I work nights.
