The technological tools including audio appendixes, digital stories and tutorials are very helpful in understanding assignments. The audio & digital feature puts a different touch on an assignment. When I watched the digital stories, I felt connected to the story I was watching. When I’m reading about a certain topic and then watch a video on that topic, it makes the topic even more interesting & easier to understand. This feature definitely helps me in a distance learning criteria. When I feel connected with my school work, it becomes fun and exciting to learn. In a way, I don’t feel like I’m in a classroom, I’m educating myself effortlessly. I appreciate the feedback from a tutor. The feedback is important, so I know if there’s anything I need to improve in my format, grammar, organization, punctuation and usage of sentences and words.
The option to download appendixes in an audio format to my computer is helpful to the quality of my educational experience. When I read an assignment, I can listen to the audio format to review what I read. The audio helps me absorb the information and give me a better understanding of the topic. I probably won’t use the portable option. It’s easier to do my school work on my own computer. I won’t be able to focus on assignments if I listened to the audio on my ipod. When I use a portable audio format, it’s to exercise or go on a bike ride, to clear my mind.
