His good looks and his charming voice helped him get away with his slaughter criminal life. He crossed the United States killing young innocent women. The name behind all this crime is Theodore Robert Cowell famously known as Ted Bundy. Theodore was born in Vermont with his unwed mother, Eleanor Louise Cowell. His grandparents initanlly raised him and he believed that his grandparents were his parents. Then in 1951 his mother married Johnnie Bundy then he took his stepfather name and now he is known as Ted Bundy.

In 1967, Ted Bundy was a student at the University of Washington; he was to meet the girl who was to have the most profound effect on his life, fellow student Stephanie Brooks. She came from a very wealthy family and they both were very deeply in love with each other. When Stephanie graduated from University of Washington she ended their Relationship and which caused Ted to go crazy. His devastation was to have a major impact on his life, and it is believed that the vast majority of his future victims were selected for their physical similarities to Brooks, who became a lifelong obsession. He also dropped out of college for a while and then found out about his true parentage, which must have been a significant psychological blow.
To prove both Brooks and his family wrong, he threw himself into his studies, becoming an honors student in his chosen field, psychology. He also nurtured a keen interest in politics, and became a charismatic Republican campaigner. During the same time Ted Bundy fell in love with another women by the name of Meg Anders a divorcee and with a daughter. His obsession for Brook still continued and his hate toward women started during this time.
