Teen crime
It has come to our attention that because of increased teen crime the town’s people have proposed to set a curfew at local malls or recreational centers. I oppose this view. by setting a curfew would not solve anything because the teens that are already breaking the law are not going to listen to a curfew it would just cause other problems such as punishing the teens who aren’t breaking the law from going out to these recreational places and putting more stress on law enforcement when they already have enough to do concerning real crimes and if these teens can’t go anywhere than the parents are going to have to away home with then all day and parents do want their kids to go out so they can relax as well.
Parents love their kids but parents and children need space from each other sometimes or they will be at each other’s throats. By setting a curfew would just make the teens stay home with their parents on a Friday or Saturday night. Know teenager will want to stay home with their parents on a Friday or Saturday night. This will just cause more problems within families and some teens will probably rebel.
Law enforcement have a big responsibility and warring wither a teenager is at the mall passed a certain time should not be there responsibility it should bra the parents responsibility. The teenagers who are causing trouble in this town at these local places are not going to listen to some curfew because if a child wants to get into trouble they will find trouble. By making a curfew we are actually punishing those teens that are not causing the trouble because they are the only teenagers who will obey the curfew.
Setting a curfew will make fewer teenagers at...
