People say your teen years are supposed to be the best years of your life, but a lot of teens are now faced with numerous problems that are linked to cyber bullying, the choking game, and substance abuse.
Bullies are a common thing in the high school atmosphere, but a new form of bullying is really becoming a problem for a lot of teens. Cyber bullying is more verbal than physical. One way teens bully each other is through text messages. The bully will send a hurtful text to one target in his/her phone, as we as sending it to all the other contacts in the phone. Also linked to texts is camera phones, the camera is used to take photos of the target in an embarrassing act or anything that might hurt the target’s feelings or “social standing.” These photos can be posted on the internet where everyone may access it. E mail is another way these bullies distribute these photos or hurtful things. Cyber bullying is considered the worst form of bullying; this is mainly because of the speed of the technology that is available today. [ (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services) ]
Teens today are big thrill seekers, always looking for a rush. The pass out game, space monkey, or suffocation game are all names for the choking...
