Nowadays, the classic boy meets girl scenario is nothing more than a fairy tale that our grandparents marvel about. Adults and mostly everyone believe that every person will find the perfect partner during their lifetime. Most future dads dream of having kid’s, so that their son will become the quarter back at the local high school. Most future moms dream of having kid’s to look into the eyes of her new creation that as caused such a horrific struggle. Little do either of these small-minded parents know that the struggle starts just around the corner at thirteen years. A adolescent mind is a whirlwind of thoughts jam-packed in developing mind thrown in with decision making, but with this calamity of a mind, the decisions are usually altered, and usually for the worse. Every teen feels like they have a protocol. A teenager has something that they will always come back to, when they’re feeling sorry for themselves. It can be a certain girl/guy; it could be Xbox; it could Facebook; it could be the Jonas Brothers; it could even be Krispy Kreme Donuts; it doesn’t matter, an obsession is prominent is every teenaged kid. I’m not going to sit here and tell whoever is reading this that writing this shit is my protocol; it’s merely a step out and probably a step forward from the “normal” teenager, who don’t want to take the time to care about “why”. If you read this initially, you are probably thinking that I’m some emo kid, who is just passing the time, when he’s not cutting his wrists. Well, listen, there’s a need for a certain somebody to write this. Someone who is open-minded, non-prejudice, passive, non-solving, and a little messed up at the same time. Oh yeah, this is the definition of the “average” kid. With that being said, I’m the perfect example of the average teenager, on the cover, at least. I am the one stuck writing this because any other type of stereotype would be biased in some shape or form. Just because I’m average doesn’t mean I’m normal. I’ve had...
