Artificial intelligence, which is mostly known as AI, is a huge development of computer technology that when made can be beneficial to humankind. The term AI is, "the capability of a machine to understand its environment and take action based on it with the highest chance of success or to perform functions associated to the human intelligence, such as learning and thinking.";however, it is easily defined as "intelligent machines", a term made by John McCarthy in 1956. Yet, artificial intelligence is only a field of computer science that aims in making intelligent machines; because, of the claim (that founded this field), that stated that the human brain can be simulated by a machine. On the contrary, since the human brain is so complicated many scientist claim that is nearly impossible to simulate the whole human brain. Therefore, artificial intelligence is only a field of computer science that requires many scientists to solve a massive problem in order to make the goal of the field of AI into reality.
For this reason, the reason to make an actual simulator of the human brain/ intelligent machines, the scientists of the field of artificial intelligence must solve the problem in simulating the human brain, "How can the complex functions of the human brain be simulated?" As a result, to solve this huge general problem, scientist have divided the main problem into specific sub-problems in order to simulate the human brain. And the main sub-problems are emulating the trait of reasoning, knowledge, planning, learning, communication, perception and the ability to move and manipulate objects. Each of the traits are common abilities of the human brain that are so hard to simulate, that most sub-problems have their own sub-field of scientists to work on them. However, in my paper, I will be only discussing only one of the main sub-problems: "reasoning".
The sub-problem, reasoning or so called, " Deduction, reasoning, problem solving", is a problem that requires...
