Mesopotamia was the place where urban life all began in the flat region of the Middle East stretching from eastern Asia Minor to the Persian Gulf . It’s very interesting how these people where able to overcome the drastic obstacles and able to develop unique methods in order to farm successfully. For example digging channels to distribute water during the flooding season. A lot of these methods are still use today. Mesopotamian where able to thrive off the river by using it for farming corps thus food for the people and using the mud for pottery and fishing which was an important part of there diet. The Sumerians discovered how to combine copper and tin to make bronze and used the new material to cast weapons and tool. This was the start of trading among communities and other regions. Around 500 B.C people where starting to develop method to starting finding ways to keep records by writing them on stone and clay tablets Sumerian where first to fully develop a writing system in history. Like the old say goes nothing is written in stone but in this case this ways the case funny.
