The Christmas in My Family
Since I have memory, the members of my mother’s family have met in our house every year for Christmas. I can say that this holiday is celebrated two days, one is on December 24th and the second on December 25th, on those two days we try to spend good time together talking, laughing, traveling, playing games and son on. As a result, Christmas in my family is very funny and nice.
The day before Christmas, it is felt in the air that everyone waits the midnight with anxiety. For instance, in the morning and in the afternoon the parents with their children go out to look and buy presents, trying to find the best prizes in The Uyustus or Eloy Salmon. Then, after of an exhausting searching, when the night is coming, almost everyone goes to the kitchen to help cooking in whatever is needed, but at the end the mothers finish the dinner. Besides them, the extremely amazing Christmas tree is decorated with more ornaments and lights where it is possible. In consequence, a couple of minutes before 12:00 a.m. you can perceive the Christmas in your body with a kind of nervous.
The night starts having a lot of fun exactly when the clock gives the midnight. First of all, we give us the presents and best wishes, the moment is so emotive that usually the mothers start crying and some times a couple of men. Gone that emotive time, the expected and always delicious Picana is put on the table, going through nice talking and laughing while we are eating. As soon as the children finish their dish, they go eagerly to open their gifts, and behind them the adults go to them to play slightly deranged with the new toys until the children get sleep. The night is so hilarious that when we go to bed, it is almost time for the sunrise.
