Barack Obama is going to have a great influence on the world in many ways, such as politics, trading etc. He is going to be a next American president next year, which insinuated that he is going to be the first black president in America.
He was born in 1961 in Hawaii and he lived in Indonesia for 4 years. He became very active in politics at the age of 24, when he moved to Chicago - he married to Michelle Robinson Obama who he first met there. He studied politics at Columbia University in New York City, then Law at Harvard Law School. He entered the United States as a representative of the state of Illinois. He beat John McCain, the 72 years old candidate of the Republican Party which is one of the current American president elections. He raised a big amount of money which has come from individual people and he made a lot of Americans enthusiastic about his campaign.

Hawaii was the place where he was born, and he spent his child-life in Indonesia for 4 years. The time when he became very active in politics was when he was at the age of 24, moved to Chicago. His wife, Michelle Robinson Obama first met Barack Obama in Chicago in 1989. They have 2 daughters, Malia Ann and Natasha who were born in 1998 and 2002. He learnt politics at Columbia University and then law at Harvard Law School. Amazingly, he raised a massive amount of money which has come from individual people who were enthusiastic about his campaign. John McCain, the 72 years old candidate of the Republican Party was beat by Obama.
