The Future of Iran

The Future of Iran

From the article Iran Expanding Effort to Stifle the Opposition published on November 23, it clearly foreshadows how Iran’s government is going to set out the new ideology for the country. President of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei, want discredit its opponents and re-educate Iran’s young population. He wants to re-Islamize the young population since they are more open to new ideas and information. In the future of Iran, the government will probably control all the media including internet and everything that might spread “insults and lies.” He thinks this new situation as “soft war” and will affect not only their religion but also lift up the protester. Iran’s new ideology is towering an isolated strategy which can prevent his power by blocking all the information and any method for rivals to communicate. It just like how communism control the country and people habitat there normally loses their right and brain wash by the governor. He wants to re-educate the young people in Iran and somehow gave them a total different idea about West Country. Iran will probably have less contact with the west and isolated itself to afford its tradition and idea. It is true that western countries are usually well educated. Thus, Khamenei doesn’t want any of his people influence by the west idea and enlighten by them. To block the media information as China did and educate the citizen can help him to manage the country easier. With many protesters denouncing Iran’s supreme leader as dictator for the first time, he think it is necessary to eradicate the problem. Furthermore, the country can work in unanimity and without any objection if he bridles all their thought and action. However, Iran will need a new leader to change all of the unfairness and give back people’s liberty, or this will be what international see for Iran future.
