Health Care Reform
Many people against health care reform because they worry about the reform will increase government spending, increase the taxes to the middle class Americans; but I believe that if the government would control the medical fees, give the taxes credits to those small businesses which help employees to buy health insurance, offer the affordable health insurance to different income-level people, mandate everyone buy health insurance, the reform will be successful, and will benefit to every Americans and small businesses.
Many people worry about the federal government will pay more hundred billion dollars for coverage those current un-insurance people, adding the deficit, and not a good thing for the America economy. But the Obama administers said that health care would actually reduce the budget deficit. We all know the costs health care are so high and it causes millions Americans bankrupt every year. There was 62.1% of all US bankruptcies were related to medical expenses in 2007, and 78% of these bankruptcies were filed by people who had medical insurance.[1][2] To lower the health cost, they will do many ways. First, they want to increase the insurance companies’ competition. More companies would be able to compete for the medical business. Those high-priced, low-efficiency companies will be closed by the market’s rule. The Low-priced, well-run companies will be kept and expand their business. Second, they would give different medical level services to you. For example, when you just have some mild medical discomfort, you can go to see a physician assistant or a nurse for help, and decrease the costs. But when you have serious problems, such as chest pain, appendicitis, they definitely refer you to a specialist doctor, such as cardiologist or a surgeon. Third, they also want to settle funds or grants to encourage scientists to invent new medicines which are no patents. So, the costs of medicines should very lower than current levels....
