A team is produced anywhere in life, whether it’s at work, school or even your family at home and the main back bone to any team is communication. In order for a team to work properly and function correctly the team must know how to communicate. In any situation, team communication skills will have a major impact on how the team will succeed. Communication in a team starts with the chain of command by having the leader making all the direct decisions and then working to communicate that decision down the line. The next key aspect of communication is how it is exchanged within the team. A good team will have a thorough way to communicate amongst each other. Then, the final impact is how proper communication can produce the best possible outcome for the team. Communication is the building blocks of a team and the better the communication is, the better the end result will be.

A team must have a great amount of knowledge on communication because it is the most important key to a team. A team can function more properly by having a chain of command to better lay out the outcome of a project. The team members that are higher in command will have much more experience and skills in communicating with the team. A team must, at the least, consist of a few leaders who will take charge and make direct decisions for the team. The chain of command will usually consist of the head leader, supporting leaders, and then the team members. The head leader’s responsibility is to oversee all the production that is going on.
