Introduction
Communication plays a strong role in the Mechanical Engineering community. Mechanical Engineering is a job where one must be able to communicate in order to build better products. I interviewed my father and his friend, Raj Thomare. After, I will take those interviews and show how and why communication is important in this community.
Methods
I interviewed Balaji Srinivasan who is a mechanical engineer. He graduated with Bachelors from India and went for his master in the US at Georgia Tech. He has been working as long as 10+ years in this community. I interviewed my father via email. I sent him my questions and he replied it back with detailed answers. I also interviewed Balaji face to face so I can clarify some of the answers. My other interviewee, Raj Thomare, is also an engineer working for Ford. He has a Bachelor from India as well. I interviewed him face-to-face and asked him the same question as I did to Balaji Srinivasan.

Balaji states that his company send messages through many mediums such as print and/or electronic, and sometimes through bulletin boards and posters. Balaji, during the interview, told me that posters do help spread the information fast. So do flyers posted on bulletin boards. Lingo is in part of any type of environment. “There are lingos...
