Good Afternoon Students. My name is Rachel Benner. I am here today to explain how important it is to have a healthy lifestyle. I know that you may think that it doesn’t matter now but later in life it will affect you. Also, when you get older, you might get diabetes from not eating right and exercising regularly.
First, I would like to explain why we need fitness. There are several reasons why we need to stay active. One reason is that you will look and feel better. Another reason is that if your excuse is that you have no time, instead you can take at least 10 minutes out of your day to exercise. To add, exercise can improve your health, capabilities, interest and proficiency.
Secondly, there are several reasons why eating healthy is important. First, you will grow healthy and strong. Second, eating a healthy breakfast can help you maintain a healthy weight. Next, instead of eating sweets and junk food when you are upset or stressed, eat carrots with ranch or a salad to reduce cravings.
There are many different exercises that can help prevent Chronic Disorders in your lifestyle. You can stretch which can improve the movement in your joints. Also, cardiorespiratory fitness can improve your health and help fight off diseases. This type of fitness can relieve stress; strengthen your heart, and most of all lowers blood pressure including the reduction of heart disease. Next, Muscular Strength and Endurance can increase your level in activity. For example, stretching and running a mile or 2.
Overall, everyone has excuses for exercising. For example, it cost too much, your tired, or you have no time. Instead you can walk along side a road. That doesn’t cost anything. Next, you’re just too bored and tired to do anything. You can just exercise. It’s easy as that. And when you exercise you can sleep. For example, if you don’t sleep your body gets tense and you’ll just toss and turn all night. Instead of not...
