The importance’s of following orders.
Imagine a world where there are no rules and no orders. Wouldn’t that be a world full of chaos, madness, and destruction? Throughout this essay I will tell you about my thoughts and opinions, whom gives us these orders, the definitions, why their given and lastly why orders are a must for mission readiness.
First we will be starting with the definitions of the word “orders” to fully understand and brake down the meaning of the word. In the Webster’s dictionary there are many definitions of the word, but the two we will be looking at are the following. 1) An authoritative direction or instruction; command; mandate. 2) A command or notice issued by a military organization or a military commander to troops. By these definitions orders can come from anybody that is placed in charge of you, and they can also come from the commander as well. These orders are set in place to keep and maintain peace, order, and productivity in the work place; whether if it’s in the field, the hanger floor, or in the air flying. Orders are set to keep us safe, and in case of emergencies, it gives us the guide lines, to inform us, and keep us alive in such an event.
Previously stated were just a few reasons why orders are given to us; now here is a few more. Orders are given to us as a team or individually to complete the task at hand, major or minor. They are given to boost one moral, and ability to do ones job. Orders are also given to keep us “inline” to keep us out of trouble. But when a group or one individual slips off the trail it could be catastrophic for one or more of us. Thus why it’s important to follow orders. They’re set to keep us from hurting our self’s, messing up major and minor components on the helicopter, and others. So through and through orders are just guide lines to keep us from harming or endangering components, people, tools, and others.
