When plants planted in the ground, the roots of a plant will take up water and in the water you will also find dissolved molecules of fertilizer. These molecules are used by the plants as building blocks to create plant tissue, flowers, fruits, and even foodstuffs for the plants themselves. The Fertilzer can be found in the ground in 2 ways the frist one is animals have left their waste (manure) which rots, or plant materials have died like cut grass or fallen dead leaves . As these plant materials, or the manures, decompose fertilizer molecules are released. The 2nd way is a ground or garden may may manually have synthetic fertilizer added like man-made fertilizer to the plants. When the fertilizer comes in contact with water, the materials dissolve and the fertilizer molecules are released. Fertilizers are like nutritious capsules which supply the plants with necessary nutrients. When these fertilizers are added to the soil, they get converted into nutrients and turn the soil into quality soil.Now there is 2 types of Fertilizers the frist one is organic fertilizers These are safe and easily available fertilizers which are made of Organic materials like manure, worm casting, slurry, seaweed, peat moss, guano and sewage. Vegetation organic fertilizers are seed hulls, corn husks, mulch, leaves, wood chips and grass. The organic fertilizers, other than adding nutrients, they also make the soil aerate. The 2nd type of fertilizer is inorganic fertilizer which is made to reach the requirements of the plants. These are also known as chemical fertilizers beacuse they are mostly made up of chemicals. These fertilizers have all the necessary components which support the growth of the plants, the most common chemicals used in these fertilizers are ammonium nitrate, potassium chloride and ammonium phosphate.
