The Responsibility between Children and Parents
A parent should always be responsible of themselves since they were children. From their childhood to their adulthood they had learned to be responsible, so that in the future they could teach their children to be as responsible as they were back then when their parents taught them. As the cycle continued but, taking it to a point where a child can be taught by their parents to be way to responsible and feel to teach them in a way of an adult manner that would teach them to act more as adult an adult and not like regular children would be to take it very far and beyond the cycle of learning.
Parents have the biggest responsibility when they have children because they learn how to teach children the right thing s and bad things about life from their own experience. Since parents have been taking into perspective the responsibility of teaching their children everything some parents have just taken it too far to a point where a child not only acts as an adult at the age of five instead of just letting the children be children. A child’s childhood should not be boring and as mannerly as possible it should be fun exiting and also entertaining for them as they are children. Children should be able to play at the any age until they should go through phases in their life where they should start realizing that their not children any more that they are adult and should act like it and that’s when a parent should enlighten the child to become an adult.
For example in the stories of both authors, Walker and Olsen, focus primarily on the relationships between mother and daughter. “Everyday Use” and “I Stand Here Ironing” both focus on mothers that have concerns about one of their daughters.
