The Warmest Memories of My Childhood

The warmest memories of my childhood

I’d like to tell about the most memorable event that happened in my childhood. Actually, it happened when I was at the age of 7 y.o.
The action took place in my village where I was living in. It was in winter. One evening I returned home after an ordinary day at a school. When I was trying to enter the door, I realized that it was closed. Not funny, I thought. When I rang at the door, nothing made a single sound in a house. The lights were off. That was really unexpected because my grandma liked the door being opened for almost all the day. Moreover, usually she didn’t leave home when I was at school.
As a child of only 7, I was disappointed and frightened a lot. Then I decided to find my grandmother.
It took 2 hours to go all around the village and finally I got very cold. With no result of seeking, I turned on a way to home. Then culmination happened: getting closer to the house, I saw some distant lights. In a few minutes, grandma ran out and started crying at me. She had just wanted to know where I was wandering last hours. Luckily, she found out that I was feeling very cold and we got home.
You may ask why these memories are the warmest. The answer is more than expected. Next 3 hours I spent sitting in front of the fireplace drinking cocoa.
