Has anyone thought about living a healthier life? In this paper, I am going to show the benefits and steps needed to living a healthy lifestyle. One may think the process of becoming a healthier individual is easy; one may shrug it off as idiotic or one maybe dumb-founded by the whole process. Regardless, one must understand and realize the task ahead must take planning, patience, learning, motivation and a lot of practice and hard work. The benefits of living a healthier life can slow down aging, can prevent heart disease and can also make for a happier more energized self-being (Rowe, and Kahn 97). I myself found that eating healthier, exercising regularly, and getting plenty of rest each day has help me control my weight, has given me motivation and self confidence, has straightened my immune system, as well as my ability to function and do daily routine activates without any negative effects. For example, I feel more sociably around others, my daytime performance at school, tennis, and work has increased, and my ability to concentrate has also increased as a result. The benefits and steps in accomplishing a healthier lifestyle are exercising regularly, balancing nutrition and energy with a healthy diet, and getting plenty of rest each day.
The relationship of physical activity to ones health is very simple: fitness cuts his or her risk of dying at an early age (Rowe, and Kahn 97). It does not get much more bottom line than that. Alcoholics, couch potatoes, and those who smoke cigarettes are putting their own life into their own hands. People who exercise feel better and perform better, regardless of age or occupation (Giampapa, Pero, and Zimmerman 125). Although the more frequent the exercise, the greater the benefit, one does not have to overdo it (Rowe, and Kahn 97).
