Time management is a process where we plan and we have control over the amount of time to spend on which particular activity in order to increase the effectiveness of productivity (Wikipedia, 2013). Moreover, it can also be aided by skills and tools to manage the limited time we have to accomplish specific tasks before its due date. Basically, it is a system which is necessary to help to develop any project or to help one to achieve one's goal.
Time management is required in order to ensure that we do not waste our time procrastinating on things that are not in the top of our priorities list. To manage time is to be able to concentrate on fulfilling our goals and to also set some time aside to relax, this is because we cannot work for twenty four hours straight without taking breaks and expect to accomplish a task properly. A good example of such goal would be studying and achieving good results.
Many students have this tendency to study as much as they can in a limited short time because they thought it would be by far more effective this way. However, this is not true. According to Stoddard (2013), it is more efficient when people take a break and relax to relieve stress in between their study time.
