There are many different processes that people go through in order to cope with their problems or heal from them after having emotional misfortunes. Perhaps some people might pay money to have personal visits with a psychiatrist for a few weeks, or others may completely ignore the situation instead of coming to a solution. I on the other hand, take the time to come to a safe and positive response so that I continue to remain the healthy person that I am.
I was moved away from my home San Diego California nine months ago. It was very hard to know that I would soon be living in another part of the world that I knew absolutely nothing about. Know matter how long it has been since I have moved away from home, the sadness never goes away, it still resides in my heart. I have done many things to help me stay positive about the situation. Often I remind myself that living here in Colorado is only a vacation because I know that someday I will be moving back. It is very helpful to keep your mind full of positive thoughts because it will help you to overcome a lot of stress that you are dealing with, and it also helps to keep a persons sanity in my opinion.
I have done several things in my past that I lived to regret such as; devoting all of my time and heart to a man who never cared to show his love and appreciation back. In order to deal with this, I simply just took some time to myself and thought about what would be best for me. After a while I decided to remove my self from the relationship because things were beginning to get worse before they even got better. It doesn’t take much at all to walk away from a situation, but it takes a lot of courage to close a door and walk into a new chapter of your life.
