Speaking and writing assignment 1
Introduction
The task was to find out information about our group mates. After speaking to Susanna and Kadri I had to analyse their answers and write a report. Firstly I had to find out what their favorite sport is. Then who their favorite athlete and/or team is and their achievements. Also if they were a member of a sports team and practiced regularly. The fourth question was selective. I chose my question to be what is their favorite national team.
What is your favourite sport or exercise?
Susanna’s favourite sport is football. Probably the most popular sport in the world. Kadri’s favourite sport is horse riding. Something a bit less known by the general public.
Do you have a favourite athlete or team? Which? Why? What are their achievements?
Susanna’s favorite sports team is Tottenham Hotspur, a football team playing in the English Premier League. And her favorite athlete is a member of that team Kyle Walker, an England national team player, which is one of his biggest accomplishments. Tottenham hasn’t won a title since the 1970s.
Kadri named two favorite athletes. They were Kullo Kender and Rein Pill. She likes them because they are devoted, have good results and are Estonian champions.
Are you a member of a sports club/team? Do you practise regularly?
Susanna is not a member of a sports club, but she practises regularly.
Kadri also does not belong to a team. She would like to practise regularly, but lacks opportunities. At the moment she goes to group trainings and works out at the gym.
What is you favourite national team?
Although Susanna’s favorite football club is from England, her favourite national team is Italy.
Kadri is patriotic and said that her favourite national team is Estonia.
Conclusion
To summarize we can see that both interviewees like the same sport they have been doing. Also their favorite athletes and teams are involved with the same sport. With me it is the same. My favorite sport is...
