Change is a fact of organizational life, and to cope with it effectively, planned programs of employee training, development, and career management are essential. After the very successful merge of InterClean and EnviroTech, we are ready to begin training for our new sales team. Our mission is to become the best sales team in our field, the training that the sales team is about to receive would ensure that our staff is knowledgeable about all of our services and products. This is especially important since InterClean will be acquiring a new set clients because of new services/products offered. The training program will consist of all of the characteristics of effective training methods such as organizational environments which promote risk taking and afford opportunities to learn from the successes and failures of decisions as well as a commitment to invest the necessary resources, to provide sufficient time and money for training. New job training requires a lot of dedication to ensure a successful outcome for both parties involved. The result of positive, steady coaching and mentoring is motivated employees, positive behavior, and maximize job performance. I believe mentoring comes in variety of styles, some organizations have structured programs that pair mentors and mentees and set out an agenda for them. Job training is valuable for people of all ages and in all walks of life. Job training offers people the opportunity to learn valuable job skills that will make them more marketable to employers and may also make them more likely to earn more money. There is no one size-fits-all job training program. The new program that our company has chosen depended upon a number of factors including our current financial situation, the companies goals, and existing skills.
