Choice is an Illusion. In reality out lives are controlled by the society in which we live.
This is true, the freedoms that we once had are being diminished by the society in which we live. So many restrictions have been placed on the way we live, many of our choices have been literally taken away. Your freedom of speech, the first amendment right is terribly limited by what people call the moral majority, you say a word, more specifically any obscenity, you get attacked by parents all in the name of children.... Yeah children, poeple hide behind them more than they do behind thier sheltered houses with there fancy TV's telling what to think, what to wear and where to eat.
I am so tired of listening to blatent advertisments trying to force feed me some crap about what is beautiful, what is in "Style". People are being turned into cattle, you walk in the mall, you will pass many many clothing stores all selling the same crap with a different name on it. Most of said stores sell striped shirts that you can buy at any store probably for twenty or so dollars cheaper. I hate people who think that just because they fit into some clique they are better than another clique. Call me an elitist, but my group at least thinks for themselves. They are not all caught up into what others think of them. We do what we want, when we want to do it, damned the consequences of the above mentioned actions that we did.
It is becoming more and more difficult to remain a true individual anymore. With the amount of propaganda and crap that is shoved into our sub-conscience daily, it is insane.
