It was dec. 26, 2004. It was in the morning around 5:00 am. The Longitude and Latitude is 40 North 75 West it hit all the states of Africa, Antarctica, Arabian, Australian, Caribbean, Cocos, Eurasian, Indian ocean, Juan da Fuca, Nazca, North American, Pacific Islands, Philippine, Scotia, Somalia, South American, Bismarck, Burma, Caroline, Easter, Explorer, Fiji, Galapagos, Gorda, Juan Fernandez, Mariana, Rivera, Solomon, south the Sandwich and Tonga.people say that It mainly hit the country of Thailand. Thailand was the worst out of them all because Thailand was right next to the Indian ocean and that’s were the earth quake happened.
Tsunami occurs when the earths plates either slide or smash with each other and it moves the water above the area. So it causes a tsunami. A tsunami is a big wave that moves or pushes everything in its way by a big force. The tsunami effects just about everything that it passes. A regular tsunami kills at least 100 people by forcing them against sharp objects and being smashed by cars and big objects. Most people who survive the attack of the tsunami say that I was a miracle. People give thousands of dollars to the people whose homes and cars have been destroyed and smashed. Most families have missing kids and missing family members that have been killed or have been lost by being carried away in the tsunami. Most of the family members are found. Some are found but died
