Value of Friendship
Why would we need friends? Can’t we live as individuals in society? Many people hold different opinions about the value of friendship. Some people even see friendship as a tool. But I think that friendship is the support from each other unconditionally. Friendship also offers us a way to relieve our stress and tension from our normal lives. Friends are important to everyone. No one can live without friends.
Everyone hears to what you say, but friends listen to what you say. Friends are willing to talk to you when you feel miserable. They are also willing to listen you when you want to share your happiness with them. If you don’t have friends, you will never understand this kind of feelings. You will feel lonely most of the time. I always share my happiness or sadness with my friends. They will encourage me whenever I feel sad. They are willing to listen to me when I have some joyful stuff to share. They will cry and laugh with me. Even if we have some arguments, they will be solved so quickly because we understand the importance of friendship. We don’t want to ruin a friendship just because some minor things. You will never hate your friends.
Friends are also people that you can trust and rely on. You will not trust a stranger but your friends. You will easily make a promise with your friends but not anyone. In the story “Theft in a Pastry Shop”, Dritto, Baby, and Uora Uora are good friends. They always have the same duty to do every time they break into a shop or a house. Dritto is the one to command; Baby is the one to unlock the door; Uora Uora is always the guard. They are willing to trust each other because of a simple reason―they are friends. They have a special bond among them. It is a bond that friends will have among them. They will feel comfortable to rely on each other.
