For as long as I can remember my parents and brothers have always stressed for me to be reliable honest and trustworthy. Personally I feel that these values can be summed up in to a good person. I can remember as early as six years old my parents getting on my case about being ready for church, school or an athletic event thirty minutes before we had to leave because they wanted me to be early in case anything in the plans was to change. Being reliable is very important to me because, in order to succeed in life people need to believe your word. If you tell someone that you will be at a certain place at 7:45 and you show up at 8:00 that person will probably be a little distraught or not believe you when you tell them something. In the workplace if your boss was to ask you if you could have something done by the end of the day, your boss is counting on you to have it done. Being a reliable person is an everyday occurrence even if your at home with your family. Honesty is another big value in my life because people need to believe you when you say something. If u lie just once and that person finds out you were lying it will b harder the next time for that person to think you are telling the truth. I remember my parents making sure I would tell the truth anywhere I went or did because it is very important for people to believe you in everything and everything you do. Honesty has affected my life in more ways than I can count or remember. There has been times where parents, teachers, principals, friends, coaches and family members have asked me something and they could trust me because they knew I was telling them the truth. A trustworthy person goes along with an honest and a reliable person. If you are a trustworthy person you are deserving of trust or confidence.
