Who is Venustiano Carranza? He was the president of Mexico on March 11 1917. He was killed by Pancho Villa. The three main points are when was he born? What did he provide for the Mexican territory? When did he introduce independence?

When was Venustiano born? Venustiano was born in 1859.He dedicated efforts to ranching and farming. Joined Brother Don Emilio on warpath against Garza Galan. Galan used powers to rob, expropriate lands and even went as far as to kidnap young girls of wealthy families. Venustiano and Don defeated state troops repeatedly. With General Bernard Reyeu support Carranza became a deputy in the state legislature, a federal deputy, a federal senator and in 1908 he appointed privusionae governor of Coahuila. Continved Mexican liberal tradition and wished to steer revolutionary movement to wards the liberal hertla valued in constitution of 1857. He was elected governor of Cahuilla in December 1911. In 1913 Dren plan of Guadalupe in response to Huerta actions in which he refused to accept the Dowers if dictator. He plan called continuity on liberal ideas which munipal freedom, independence of judicial branch, and equality eyes of law. He was named the first chief the constitionalist movement. He called the military support of poncho villa, Alvaro, obrogon. He had no trouble obtaining. Carranza elected president/march 11, 1917, wide margin of victory. Enacting the new constitution (first order of business.) September 1916, ordered a group of people be covened for the sole purposes of composing a new constitio. New charter adopted February 5 1917. Baved on liberal 1857 constitution.
