Budweiser is one of most popular beer brands in the United States. They have always been notorious for producing humorous and sex appeal ads to advertise their products. They incorporate certain sex appeal and humor into the ads to sell products to men and show nothing is more pleasing than drinking their beer.
The rhetorical appeal in this Budweiser ad is using the logo and pathos method to convince the audience to drink Budweiser. This advertisement uses sexy women to appeal to men and their emotion so they will buy their product. The women used in the advertisement are all Caucasian and enjoying a relaxing day on the deck and lying out. In this ad they are making the product seem more lavish and enjoyable while in the sun relaxing, with women. Budweiser is assuming that having beautiful women in their advertisements or commercials is beneficial with selling their beer. They are trying to entice beer enthusiasts to buy their products instead of its closest competitors. This advertisement shows different aspects that portray women soaking up the sun and enjoying a beer. The three women are on a Budweiser towel and wearing Budweiser bathing suits to direct attention to them and the Budweiser logo. Two of them have smiles on their faces to show the audience how much they are enjoying their time relaxing. The mixture of logo towel and bathing suits in the ad make sure that the audience can see the brand clearly so that they can remember what product to buy. The advertisement makes you believe that this relaxing lifestyle is more enjoyable as long as there is Budweiser with you.
