World War 1. A war that America should have never entered. Woodrow Wilson declared that we would remain neutral. As Europe waged war all around the US, many noticable changes took place.
For once America was able to keep there noses out of others peoples buisness. That lasted for about 2 year.
When the war began many more jobs began opening up. As men went off to war that left the women to stay home. Most women went to work at factories, building airplanes, and other machineary needed for the war. They began to build planes and new weapons destruction such as torpedos and guns were invented.
Another thing was that America hated the French in previous wars. As a matter of fact most of the previous wars were with France and Great Britain. The fact that America joined forces with these to countries was hard to believe. The war that started off located in Europe known as a European war was now a war located in Europe known as the Wold War.
