Week 2

Statement of Topic
Waste Management is a company that provides a service of garbage removal from residential and business locations. The company provides trash receptacles for both the business and the home. Waste Management also provides recycling and other services. Residential waste pick-up is performed once a week for each designated area. Each residential customer is allowed one waste receptacle without change, and additional receptacles can be purchased for an additional charge.
The products that the company provides are the trash receptacle and recycle bins. The trash receptacle is well made and is designed to help make movement easy for the customer. The receptacle is equipped with a large handle and wheels so that it is easy to steer and move to the curbside for pick up. The receptacle was designed with the customer in mind, as almost everyone is able to move the receptacle with ease.
One issue that many of the customers have with the service that is offered is that many households have the required bins and various containers to go along with the bin to contain all waste because not all of their trash for the week fits in one bin. It is preferred that residents use given garbage bins. Since the bins are full before the weekly pick up, customers tend to leave their garbage curbside for over 24 hours before the scheduled pick up. By having multiple pick up dates each week for the customer that need them, the service will improve the customer satisfaction.
Waste Management provides garbage and recycling to businesses and residential customer. By having multiple days a week pick up for larger businesses and customers, Waste Management will be able improve customer satisfaction and help services of the company run smoothly.
