Throughout the process of knowing Boston I have come across many reasons of why it is that I want to attend. From the many reasons I have come to one conclusion, "At Boston you sit on a campus surrounded by the most intelligent and diverse people in the world". Boston is the agglomeration of facilities, programs, departments, cultures, ambitions, and intelligence that unite to form a circle of opportunity for its students, and frankly I want to be a part of it.
I was completely attracted to the idea that BU have about diversity backgrounds, I believe this mix of cultures will definitely broad my experience. From, playing tennis with accomplished athletes from around the world, having a literary discussion at "PHILO", meeting people from countries that you didn't have registered on your map of the world, listening to lectures from the most prestigious intellectuals of our present time, walking down the campus and experiencing the entrepreneurial skills of the up and coming Wall street prodigies or simply sitting in at the library absorbing the fountains of information spilling out through the shelves. BU offers you the richest resources from the most accomplished thinkers, in an environment that stimulates the expansion of humanities greatest asset, the mind. What is more is located in the middle of the fabulous Boston, and personally I love this city.
The variety of subjects which roam from electrical to computer systems engineering surely impressed me, because I started to realize that this university really did have it all. It gives one the chance to experiment and try diverse areas of knowledge and then specialize. Apart from the various courses that BU offers, its different programs is what most appealed to me, whilst reading I came to feel extremely identified with its conditions and I could really picture myself immersed in the program. BU offers a rare fusion of liberal arts and professional education that I believe is a plus in my education.
