What is your opinion about our economy?
Honestly the economy is going downhill! For some reason I’ve been talking to a lot of people recently about the economy. For example; a lot of people are concern about transportation according to news, some people agree that their better off transporting by bus. The cost of transportation in my opinion is going to climb significantly in the next fifteen to twenty years. That’s interesting and probably true.
There is down ward pressure on U.S jobs, products, and wages/salaries. Pressures for employers to take advantage of low wage contributions to their cost per unit and sales figures, the cost of goods we can buy are lower than other wise.
A $14 billion auto industry bailout bill stalled in the senate should explain a lot about the economy’s issues. The developments unfolded after Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky joined other GOP lawmakers in announcing his opposition to a White House-backed bill that was approved by the House. He called for an alternative that will reduce the wages and benefits of the Big Three auto makers to bring them in line with those paid by Japanese carmakers Nissan, Toyota, and Honda. Auto industry officials also were in the high-stakes talks, which unfolded against a backdrop of stunning job losses and continuing in economic turmoil. New claims for unemployment benefits rose by more than a half-million for the week ending.
Consider the build of most homes, that most of the money spent in the "burbs" now is shipped elsewhere; Wal-Mart, Applebees, etc. according to statistics one in three homes was owned by an investor compared to 1990 where it was one in ten. I’m not saying that everyone’s house is going to be worth nothing in a few years; just that business of real-estate is not going to be as profitable. Many people disagree but in the other hand, many agree.
