“Knowledge is power,” the English philosopher Francis bacon declared 400years ago. I totally agree this sentence, as I am a student, I find out that I think knowledge is unlimited. After I read the article from Ho and Hirsch, I understood that there are many different learning methods. Both creativity and “ core knowledge “ are significant to my learning process.
Critical thinking can let me share my opinions freely. In my primary school, I might follow what the teachers taught me. And I think that I might not have enough space to think of my ideas. I think this is not fair to me as knowledge do not have the absolutely right answers. However, I am so grad that I was taught under American education system, which provided space for me to think and answer freely. It is a good way for me to learn because I can think whatever by myself. For example, I always have a group presentation and I can have a chance to think of my own ideas such as I can use what method to present, share my opinions with my group members etc. When we combine our ideas, I find out what I cannot think of before. It is a good chance for me to broaden my minds. Therefore, I enjoy learning in a creative way.

It is no doubt that education has a main role in our life as many people says, “ Education is a life-long process”. Both critical thinking and “ core knowledge “ is very important to me. If I can use both if the ideas, I can have a fruitful education road. I enjoy learning very much .
