Which strategy – Washington’s or DuBois’ – was a better one for African-Americans?

According to the research I have done I have came to an agreement with Mr. Booker T. Washington. In my opinion I also believe that “no race can prosper ‘til it learns that there is as much dignity in tilling a field as in writing a poem. It is at the bottom of life we must begin and not at the top.”
There are many reasons to why I agree with Mr. Booker T. Washington’s Quote as well as his whole theory. One of them that we as people can not just decide on day that we are going to wake up and be the president of the United States, and instantly be there, it has to be a starting point somewhere, and to me what better starting point than at the bottom, at the bottom is where you get the chance to learn everything. Down at the bottom is where you also get more chances; you get to experiment with the different careers down at the bottom. I agree with him because people are going to be people and you can say changed them. I often say and I quote myself that “You can’t control...
