WHo is he

I had to think about this very hard because, I believe too much of anything is bad. I looked to the Virtue Theory to help me decide if I would take it or not. The Virtue Theory states it is an approach to Ethics that emphasizes an individual’s character as the key element of ethical thinking, rather than rules about the acts themselves or their consequences. After looking at this very carefully and thinking of all the possible outcomes about being a perfectly virtuous person. I decided that I would not take the pill. Like I stated before too much of anything is bad. I feel like you have to have balance to be happy. If you were perfectly virtuous all the time you will become unhappy because, you need to balance reasons and desires. Also, with too much virtue you lack awareness of your fears and your limitations. It can become easy to become callous, reckless and impulsive. You can also start to ignore other people’s fear and their limitations also. Also, some traits might be good for something’s and horrible for others. For example, fearless dominance. It can be a good skill for leadership when you are facing a crisis, or it can be too violent. Also, sometimes virtues can conceal vices that we have which can become very bad. If I became too virtuous I would lose my self-awareness which is what can keep my core values in check. Some virtues that served me well in the past might not always continue to do so. I also thought about being perfect all the time across the board can lead me to become a perfectionist. I would have a devotion to high standards, and an inability to set priorities. Lastly, perfectionist exhibit high levels of chronic illnesses. Lastly, I feel like everyone would lose their diversity and it would become a very dull place.
