Huskie Revenge
Last year the Northern Illinois huskies took on the Bowling Green falcons at Detroit Michigan Ford Dome. Suffered a major lost at the MAC championship which cause the school to be shocked after such a record breaking season. And the loss of the Heisman Nominee QB Jordan Lynch. The huskies were left we with a team to be rebuilt and somehow make it back to the MAC championship to get redemption.
As the next season is coming to end the huskies find themselves in the exact place they want to be back at the MAC championship. To my excitement I got to go the MAC championship in Michigan where the huskies find themselves with a opportunity for redemption from last year. So when game day come the Northern Illinois Huskies take on the Bowling Green Falcon in a rematch from last year’s blow out of the MAC championship. The first quarter made the game look like it was going to be a very close game until the second quarter came. The huskies started remembering what happened last year and started turning on the jets and playing shut down defense and stellar offense. Which put the huskies up by two touchdowns before the half with huskies fans on the edge of their seats. As the third quarter come rolling around so did the huskies offence and gave them two more touchdowns. Going into the last quarter the huskies were going out for falcon blood and a MAC championship. Which gave them a running game which the falcons could not stop. And the crowd knew at the mid-way through the fourth quarter that the huskies were not going to be beaten. With the end of the game comes pouring Gatorade on the head coach and the trophy ceremony and the MVP of the game.
With such a great story to look at and how the huskies have overcome losing such a great quarterback and a remember able season. They buckled down and figure out how they can be successful next season. Which they did, it lead to a MAC championship trophy and a great bowl game to go to. I don’t know...
