Yes, I think that the tourism plans should go ahead. I think with Airtravel getting involved with other countries will boost their reputation and could increase the amount of costumers that Airtravel get from holiday makers wanting to go to Latasica. Also with Airtravel making more flights to Latasica the amount of money that is made in Airtravel, and Latasica, will increase and therefore then being able to use that money to become more developed and build tourist attractions which will bring in more money to Latasica. Builders and other home maintenance workers will get more money and some people that were unemployed, before the tourism increase, could get jobs being a builder or a plumber. Also there will be a requirement for chiefs, to cook hotel staff, cleaners and maybe just a barman or bar lady. Farmers will also have an advantage with this tourism increase. The farmers will have to supply some of the food they will be bought by the hotels which would then be bought the tourist.
But consequently there are down sides to tourism. Tourists can have a massive effect on the local scenery, public areas or even other people’s homes or hotel rooms. The scenery is spoiled by littering, people just throw away their rubbish and leave it there. Trampling is another cause of spoiling the environment, people use the footpaths too often and the ground starts to go in on itself and if there is a path by a stream or lake the path will fall and the edges of the lake will fall. Littering can also effect the wildlife in Latasica, if a animal were to eat something rotten it would get ill or if the animal were to come across a can it could slit its neck and die. Polution is another aspect to tourism. Planes have to get here causing pollution, cars have to go around Latasica. Pollution could spoil the wholke holiday for other people and in the long term the lack of people coming to Latasica, will lower the amount of money coming into the country.
