Why Do I Want to Become a Teacher 
The word teacher for most people is defined as someone who is responsible for informing or teaching someone something. However, not everyone would have the same image of a teacher. I personally have an image of a teacher as being someone who is kind, loving, gentle, patient and understanding. When I think of the word teacher, I get the visual image of a person standing by a desk helping a child with their school work. My own thoughts of what I believe a teacher should be, along with my life experiences and goals all contribute to why I want to be a teacher. My thoughts of what a teacher should be formed from my own life experiences. Everyone has progressed to where they are in life because they had a teacher. A teacher is defined as someone who gives instruction and communicates skills. Our children are our future, and they need to be prepared for the future or they will not be successful in the working world. Teaching makes a difference in them, because it gives them tools to help them be successful in the future.   I would like to tell you why I would like to receive a degree in an early childhood education and what has led me to this decision and why I want to become a teacher.           I have chosen to become a teacher because I myself have sat in many classrooms and before many teachers that I considered to be some of the best teachers in the world. As a child in I was inspired by a wonderful mathematics teacher named Mr. Mack Graham. Although math is my weakest subject Mr. Graham taught me that any dream was possible. If I put my mind to accomplishing any goal I could make it happen. Mr. Graham inspired me to be the best I could be at anything I wanted to be. Through my high school days and in to my college life I have had other important teachers who inspire me to accomplish my dreams. These wonderful inspiring people in my life have helped me in my decision to become a teacher.       The job of a teacher means......
