“Why am I in college?”
There are several reasons why I am currently attending college. In my opinion, education is always an important topic in any society because it determines our future and helps us achieve our goals. Above all, my main reason for being in school would have to be to increase my knowledge, obtain new experiences and to prepare for a better career for my future.
First of all, I’m attending school to increase my knowledge and understanding in the field that I am studying. I’m currently working towards my associate degree in nursing. I plan on someday working in the administrative field of nursing. I hope to have the hands on training and knowledge to know how to manage and perform anything pertaining to the nursing side of the healthcare field. Once having all the skills I need, I will then be ready to go out into the work place to find a more suitable career.
In addition to being in college I want to obtain new experiences and new job opportunities. To be placed in an unfamiliar work environment would have to be one of the most amazing experiences one can go through. It may be a bit intimidating at first, but once being put out in the real world, you are able to embrace many opportunities that come along with it. There are chances for raises, promotions, or even manager positions. With all these reasons you are able to get a grasp on success and have limitless future career possibilities.
Furthermore, my most important reason for attending college is to prepare for a better career for my future. Once I have my degree I plan on working in a large healthcare facility such as a hospital where there are many opportunities to advance to the administrative level. Within time, I plan on investing for my future so that when I become financially stable I can provide for my family and their every need, including their education.
