As I begin my journey from the peaks of the Rocky’s, from the depths of the Atlantic, to the marvelous views from outer space, my journey, is the journey of life. During this adventure, I will become the owner of small businesses, onto large local businesses, to owning my own golf course. Then I realize, this will not be just another walk in the park. Many hours of taking notes, studying, job shadowing, and multiple internships will be needed to achieve my dreams and my ultimate goal.
Reaching my ultimate goal will involve my extracurricular activities. Throughout my high school career I played golf and baseball. My passion for baseball and golf are what helps me push myself to my full potential. With my dream to own businesses and eventually own my own golf course, I need to reach my full potential so that running a business can go smoothly. I feel that going through the PGM program at your college will help me get ahead of my competition and have the ability to reach my goals faster than most others.
As my final year of high school is slowly but surely is coming to a close, my integrity, honesty, responsibility and perseverance keep me on track and focus on my next step towards reaching my dreams. Paul Valery said that “The best way to make your dreams come true is to wake up.” I may not know exactly who or what Mr. Valery really is and what he does for a living, but I do know that his quote stated above has impacted my life in many ways. To me, the quote means just more than saying don’t be lazy. With just 13 words, my attention to detail, my focus on being organized, my focus on extracurricular activities, and my responsibility has greatly increased.
With all this being said, I believe that my character traits and my ability to perform would fit well at your institution. I have proven before that my determination has never left me short of my goals. My goal to become a business man is nothing without a program as great as yours to jump...
