Work Perspective Paper
In the criminal justice world, professionals encounter countless situations, some on a
very small scale such as felony stop, and others on very large scales such as the designing of new
security systems for structures that accommodate thousands each day. Every situation no matter
how large or small is critiqued and it is decided to see if the situation or project was
handled in the correct way. The purpose of this paper is to analyze several exhibits for
various concepts that may or may not be displayed during their undertaking. Some of these
concepts are values demonstrated by the individuals involved, ethical concerns or implications of
the actions of those involved, shared visions of the future pertaining to the direction of the
criminal justice system, and to decide if effective communication was used by all parties
involved throughout these exhibits. The demonstration of these concepts by the individuals in
the criminal justice system is vital to the success of the system overall, and any evidence to the
contrary should be used as a learning plan to correct the problems, to help to refine the system.

Leadership’s Bond of Trust
With the changing times, people have changed their values along with it. In this day and
age, the values of an organization as well as an individual are important to be an effective
leader. “Values drive the behavior and therefore the culture of an organization” (Peak, 2010).
The autocratic approach to leadership no longer motivates today’s generation to work. There are
rights that were not existent in the past. We are not motivated to work as if we were in the past
because presently we can eat without having to work. Therefore, to be an effective leader one’s
