In today’s business realm the area of human resources is full of intricacy and challenge. American businesses as well as international have large expectations that are constantly changing. Human resources must possess the necessary skills to run a proficient department and, at the same time become a strategic cohort and mentor that it needed to help in the decision-making process within the organization. With the fast pace of the business world quickly changing, human resources is now expected to be apart of the strategic planning as well. . This creates good exposure for potential employees and is much cheaper, quicker and more efficient when looking for a particular job or position. According to Cascio, job analysis is the process of study and collection of information relating the operations and responsibilities of a specific job. When a job analysis is carried out it can pinpoint and establish the duties and responsibilities for a specific job or position and the type of person whom should be hired for that job. The data that is collected from the job analysis will have an effect on all segments of human resources management. Phases of a job analysis include the gathering of data information, facts and ideas. Preparation of a description of the position needed to be filled, job specification and job requirements. “A job description is basically a written statement of what the incumbent does, how he or she does it, and what the working conditions are.
