When talking in relation to diversity, society may be talking about the group who possess individual qualities that diverse from his or her traits. Workplace diversity is the uniqueness which every employee brings his or her organization or establishment. Examples of differences include belief, disabilities, nationality, race, physical appearance, gender, educational background, age, work experience, and sexual orientation. Creating a work environment is valuing diversity at the workplace. Every employee should feel wanted and should be acknowledge of other cultures.
Diversity required knowledge of different groups of human being. In the workplace diversity is what different individuals may bring to an organization. It encompasses learning and interacting with people sharing different opinions, and backgrounds to create an environment. There are different people who have different habits, cultures, and are consider been normal. Some people from different backgrounds may be the best and most qualified workers in a workplace. Everyone in a management position should have some understanding about the characteristics of diversity individuals. Also know the differences between managing diversity, affirmative action, valuing diversity, and know how to build skills that transforms awareness into production in the workplace.
