World Religions
For this report, the religion of the world that I choose to discuss is the Christian religion known as Seventh – Day Adventists (SDA). I have also conducted an interview with a member of this church and asked her a series of ten questions that I will discuss at the end of the paper. I will also be comparing and contrasting this experience with at least one other religion. There will be a conclusion of this experience followed by sources.
I visited the Seventh-Day Adventist Church which is located at 2317 W Washington Ave, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401 last Saturday morning. The experience was truly amazing! Since this is my church, but not having been to the new location since they moved two years ago. I was anticipating having a good time going here and conducting this interview, I actually had a very pleasant experience and gained a lot more valuable knowledge about the Seventh - day Adventist religion, and about other human beings as well! Here is what happened:
With my notepad containing the ten questions I was going to ask in tuck away my book bag along with my bible, I went back to church I have not been in two years. It was 8:30am Saturday morning when I left for Jonesboro, Arkansas. When I arrived, it appeared to be just a metal building when to pulling into the Seventh-day Adventist Church parking lot, of which I am a member. It was 9:00am by this time and I was very relieved that I made it in time, I hate being late to church! Everyone had families which were walking into the church together, dressed very nicely. Then we parked my car towards the rear of the parking lot, got out and began walking towards the main door.
