Secrets of True Love Disappointments
Love can be a strange mystery providing all kinds of emotion. Picking your true is no walk in the park, it can be describe as fork in the road “Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,/ And sorry I could not travel both/ And be one traveler, long I stood/ And looked down one as far as I could/ To where it bent in the undergrowth;” (Robert Forest “The Road Not Taken” Lines 1-5.) Having a decision between two people that you love can be overwhelming and causes nothing but suffering. Following ones' heart will lead you to your up most desires and happiness. Wuthering Heights provide such love that is stronger then life itself. Two people that made for each other, is destroyed by fear and regret for their own demise. Never turn your back or feel regret on what truly matters, your heart consent.
The two main characters, who where design to be soul mates in novel Wuthering Heights are Heathcliff and Catherine. They grown a relationships since childhood, and shown to consider themselves to be two halves of the same person. Their love embrace a flaw relationships with others that tend superficial, not having a connection with anyone else. Both living in their own little world, and when separated from each other, the feeling of complete isolation. Their love and dependency on each other is consuming and obsessive. Catherine and Heathcliff relationship seems to be flawless, until reaching to the point of marriage. This turn of event exposes their true traits, leading from a sanctuary of love to the point of oblivion. The road they have chosen are different and found to be tormenting to each other.
Catherine traits are know as a wild and passionate character, arrogant and willful, she is shown to have real cruelty. In spite of her love for Heathcliff, she made a choice to marry Edgar.
