Yahoo Inc. is following differentiation strategy by providing quality web services to its users through out the world. Yahoo is also committed to empowering its users and employees through programs, products, and services that inspire people to make a positive impact on their communities. For example Yahoo! for Good connects people with causes through their products and services as well as through partnerships with nonprofit organizations such as Global Green, Network for Good, and DonorsChoose. Yahoo is also following differentiation by a wide range of services it provides through diversification. Yahoo Inc. is currently offering more than 95 web services to its users in more than 30 languages throughout the world. Yahoo generates most of its revenues from their web based search service. They have built a sustainable competitive advantage over their rival Google Inc. In October 2007, Yahoo! Search was updated with a more modern redesigned Yahoo! home page. Moreover, ‘Search Assist’ was added; which provides real-time query suggestions and related concepts as they are typed. Furthermore Yahoo!
