Zilack Corp owner James Zilack Jr. owner of Zilack Corp has requested the Sales and Marketing department to help double the company’s current $5 million in sales in the next year. We sell and market Zilack coffee cups with a patented ball bearing sliding mechanism, through our sales group and through the internet. We have created a Strategic Alignment and Execution Plan showing how Sales and Marketing will assure we are ready to take on the challenge and meet the goal.
As the manager of Sales and Marketing and Human Resource, I understand the specific goals the vice-president has set for us to accomplish. These goals will be explained to the employees by working closely with their supervisors to assure success will be met. I have created the activities and tasks to work side by side with the company goals. With different department’s needs to increase help in their group, we will be hiring the additional help. Two will be hired to assist with the hiring process and eight in sales to increase cup sales. The “Strength of Workplace” score of 2.67 score will be a priority. We will work with questions below a score of 4.0 by placing action-items to help give employees a sense of important about who they are and why they are important to the company. Management will work closely with supervisors through open communication to know their department needs are. We will provide employees the opportunity to build on their skills by learning about their strengths and talents. Some actions I have set up will be part of a strong Zilack as well as a profitable company.
