A Knight’s Analysis

The movie “A Knight’s Tale” takes place in the 14th century. It shows you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it and work hard to achieve it. A peasant who believed in himself was able to become a knight through hardwork and dedication.
This is a movie called “A Knight’s Tale.” In this work a peasant named William, with the help of his friends, Wat and Roland, impersonate a knight that died before his match in a tournament and win. They then go to London to compete in another tournament. He won the sword battle, but lost the jousting match. He meets a girl named Jocelyn in the city which he fell in love with. She makes him prove his love for her and he succeeds. Adhmar, the man who defeated William in the jousting matching, becomes very jealous. William competes in a second tournament, but this time only the jousting match. Adhmar and William both make it to the finals and are in a parade. The night before the final match William goes to find his father and Adhmar sees him and tells on him. The next day, while William is getting ready for his match, Jocelyn tells William that the guards are waiting for him and will arrest him and she wanted him to run away with her, but he instead chose to stay and take his punishment like a true knight. Prince Edward, who was in the same position as William because he also pretended to be what he wasn’t allowed to be, released William and knighted him Sir William. They then continued on the final match, but Adhmar cheated and speared his lance and stabbed William in the first run which made it hard for him to continue on the match with his armor. He took off his armor, putting his life on the line, and jousted the last run and knocked Adhmar off his horse winning the match.
William was very dedicated and hardworking to pull off being a knight. William never gave up on himself. Even though he kept missing the jousting practice target he kept doing it over and over. William practiced and...
